Fruits Records asked me to design a 45rpm label for their upcoming series of 7" records. I was given total freedom by the label to come up with something new, including a new logo. The only requirement they had was: the label had to match the Jamaican design style of the 70's roots reggae era.
The series of 7"s consists of 3 records, which are sold in 3 different varieties.
1) Black vinyl
2) Coloured vinyl
3) Limited Edition coloured vinyl with silkscreen sleeve.
I drew a new logo, designed the new label and silkscreen sleeve and picked the colours of the vinyl to match the sleeve and labels.
