ROOTS UNITY - LOGO AND LABELDESIGN
I was asked to design a logo and come up with a few labeldesigns for an up and coming reggae label. Started out with designing the logo, hand sketched at first and then into Illustrator. Once that was ok, I designed the labels, taking influence from old labels and working from that. Made a few different templates to choose from - wavy lines in the logo or straight lines, different colors et cetera. Well pleased with the result. Only thing I think I'd change now is the 45 RPM style. I think that needs to be straight. What do you think? Can't wait to see these in real life, which will be soon.
